One Child Gone Is One Too Many

The greatest tragedy is the loss of a child. The greatest calamity is not having a cause. No parent should ever have to experience both. Help us raise awareness into the cause and prevention of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood or SUDC.

Our Mission

The Emersyn Grace Rima Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that was established in loving memory of my daughter, Emersyn “Emy” Grace Rima, who passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on February 17th, 2019. Emy’s passing is categorized as Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC). SUDC is a category of death in children between the ages of 1 and 18 that remains unexplained even after a thorough investigation, including an autopsy.

Our priority is giving back to the community in supporting a broad spectrum of organizations aiding those in need. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of others by performing Random Acts of Kindness. We also desire to raise awareness by advocating and raising funds for research into the cause and prevention SUDC.
